River trip and Snorkel Experience

Duration: 3 hours
Price: $45 USD for 2-to-3 people or $40 USD 4-to-8 people

The Mesoamerican Reef system stretches over 1000 km. spanning the eastern coasts of Mexico, Belize, Guatemala and Honduras. It is the largest reef in the western hemisphere and has been identified as a unique and globally important coral reef ecosystem.

Xcalak, is a great snorkeling destination and is among the Mesoamerican reef. Everyone who comes here should try to go snorkeling at least once. You'll be opened up to a whole new world - one of striking beauty and strange and unusual creatures. You might see a spotted eagle ray flying gently by you, a funny looking needlefish, or even a lobster! It's truly an amazing sight - one you don’t want to miss! After that you will visit the last Mexican frontier on the south of the Caribbean named Bacalar Chico River, this is the border with Mexico and Belize where you’ll have the opportunity to see termites nest among the mangrove, Orchids and variety of Mangrove. Note: This tour does not include any snorkel equipment. Bring your own or you can rent at any dive shop in town. Xcalak National Park fees are included.

Bird Island and Snorkel

Duration: 5 hours
Price: $70 USD 2-to-3 people or $60 USD 4-to-8 people

Bird Island tour is a complete tour that will take you trough the Chetumal Bay and Bacalar Chico River, once you enter the Bay you will travel through ancient Mayan canals, you may visit the canons from a Spanish galleon that was stranded during a hurricane. The final destination is a small island where many rare species of birds in their natural habitat. This trip allows you to see the diversity of ecosystems that surround Xcalak, if you are lucky, you may see a manatee! After that unique experience you will have the opportunity to stop at the Xcalak National Park for an amazing Snorkel.
Note: This tour does include the entrance to the National park and extra fees, refreshments and light snack, there will be a two stop snorkel on this trip and each location will be approximately 45 minutes.

Day Trip to San Pedro Belize

Duration: 8 hours approx.
Price: $250 USD 2-to-4 people or $300 USD 5-to-6 people. Please allow an additional $20 USD per person for immigration fee.

Ambergris Caye is the largest of Belize's more than 200 off-shore islands. About 25 miles long and narrow, it resembles from the air a spiny backbone, a vertebrae of land divided by discs of irregular grey mangrove lagoons.

The main town on Ambergris caye is San Pedro Town or la Isla Bonita named by Madonna. It is a mile or so long and encompasses only a few street blocks. Most of the houses are wooden with zinc roofs. San Pedro town is the heart of Ambergris Caye and offers a wide range of restaurants, bars, souvenir shops, and banks. The main means of transportation are golf carts however bicycles, scooters, and some cars and vans are also available for rent. The streets are sandy and unpaved; there are no traffic lights, no freeways or highways and no high-rise buildings.

Note: Total travel will be approx 1 ½ hours each way and we can stay for about 5 hours, while you get there you will have to find your own way to move around either rent a car or just do some shopping, the entrance fee to the country is not included on this trip, there will be an extra charge at customs, $4 USD per person during weekdays and if you want to travel during weekends there is $80 USD extra (approx.). We cover any extra taxes in Mexico.

Xcalak National Park Snorkel

Bottom Fishing Experience

Have you ever thought of catching a Barracuda on a fly rod? Well this can be your opportunity of a live time. We offer regular fishing apart from Flyfishing, and we can try for snapper, Barracuda and even Jacks that are around our area. Refreshments, ice, snacks, equipment and bait are included.
